As human beings we are extraordinarily creative in finding ways to cope with adversity. Many of these are constructive and life enhancing, however, some can be temporarily effective but destructive in the long term.
We can explore with you ways in which you are approaching challenges to your threshold for coping with stress. We can also work with you to suggest methods and practices to enhance your repertoire of responses to adversity.
Our approach is to find ways that fit best for you rather than to artificially impose manualised techniques (unless you feel that such techniques will work well for you!).
We will talk with you about what you have tried and what does or does not work for you.
